This September Smirnoff, the world’s largest vodka brand, will be expanding their reach by releasing a new, limited-edition Moscow Mule vodka.
Smirnoff Moscow Mule will be a 30-percent ABV vodka that is already infused with ginger and lime. As a result, all you have to do is pour the mostly-premade concoction into your favorite ginger beer or ginger ale, and your Moscow Mule is instantly complete.
“As the original vodka of the Moscow Mule, we pride ourselves on our cocktail heritage and on being the first to mix up this cocktail in 1941,” Jay Sethi, vice-president, Smirnoff at Diageo North America, said in a statement. “Now, over 75 years later, we’re excited to announce a new flavor dedicated to this popular drink.”
Hopefully, this new Moscow Mule vodka won’t have that same problem: Smirnoff plans to make it available across the entire U.S. with a suggested retail price of $14.99 for a 750-milliliter bottle. Smirnoff Moscow Mule will also be sold in 50-milliliter miniature bottles, just in case you want to mix up a Moscow Mule on the go.
