If you’re a mule lover who’s short on drink recipes, you’re in luck. We’ve pulled together a list of our favorite fruity, tropical, and refreshing summer Moscow mule recipes that are guaranteed to cool you down.

STRAWBERRY MOSCOW MULE
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
- 4 oz. vodka
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 bottle ginger beer
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1 strawberry for every drink you’re mixing to use as a garnish
Preparing your Strawberry Mule
- Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl and mash the strawberries with the back of a spoon so the juices drip into the bowl.
- Add ice to a chilled mug or highball glass, then divide strawberry juice, vodka, and lime juice between the 2 mugs.
- Top off with ginger beer.
- Place a lime & strawberry skewer in each cocktail.
MANGO PINEAPPLE MOSCOW MULE
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. chopped mango (only 1 mango needed)
- 1 oz. chopped pineapple
- 12 oz. ginger beer
- 3 oz. vodka
- Lime wedges
- Mint springs
Preparing your Mango Pineapple Mule
- Chop up a mango and pineapple into small pieces. Puree with blender.
- Add 2 oz. ginger beer syrup and 10 oz. soda water.
- Garnish with lime wedges and mint leaves.
GRAPEFRUIT ROSEMARY MOSCOW MULE
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. vodka
- 2 oz. freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice ( about ½ of a grapefruit)
- 1/2 oz. (1 tablespoon) fresh lime juice
- 3 oz. chilled ginger beer
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
Preparing your Grapefruit-Rosemary Mule
- Fill a copper mug with ice.
- Add the vodka, grapefruit, lime juices, and ginger beer. Stir to combine.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
SUMMER MULE
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
- Fresh berries (about 4-6 per drink)
- 2 oz. vodka
- 3 oz. ginger beer
- Soda water
- Ice
PREPARING YOUR SUMMER MULE
- Muddle the berries with the lime juice. (I used blackberries and raspberries, but I’ve also made this with strawberries and blueberries; just use whatever you’ve got on hand or whichever fruits seem the ripest.) The berries should break down quickly as you muddle them creating a syrup-like texture.
- Add the ginger beer and vodka.
- Pour over ice and top off with sparkling water.
LAVENDER MULE
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 2 oz. vodka
- 1 oz. elderflower syrup
- 2 oz. ginger beer
- Lavender syrup
- Lavender ice cubes (optional)
Ingredients for lavender syrup:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
Preparing your lavender syrup:
- Combine the sugar and dried food-grade lavender in a heat-proof bowl.
- Pour boiling water over the sugar and lavender, and stir for a few seconds until the sugar is dissolved. Let the lavender steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the lavender out and let the syrup come to room temperature, then refrigerate.
Preparing your lavender ice cubes:
- Place a few pinches of dried culinary lavender in an ice cube tray, cover with water and freeze. (Optional: Throw in a few dried food-grade rose petals for color and aroma.)
Preparing your lavender mule:
- Combine all the ingredients in shaker.
- Serve over the lavender ice cubes in a copper mug.
CITRUS MULE
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz.fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 oz. orange liqueur
- 2 oz. ginger beer
- 2 oz. vodka
- Ice
- Mint for garnish
Preparing your Citrus Mule:
- Combine lime, lemon, and grapefruit juice as well as orange liqueur and vodka in a copper mug.
- Add ice, then pour over ice with ginger beer.
- Garnish with mint.
